Volunteer

Are you interested in joining one of the most respected charitable organisations in New Zealand?

Our small band of volunteers work in a variety of areas supporting the work of the Cancer Society in Northland.  We are very proud of our volunteers.  They assist us in many different ways, helping us to help our community.

Whether you have a day to spare, or just a few hours, we would welcome you into our dedicated team.  The amount of time you give us is up to you.  We will only ask you on the days you have indicated and if the task doesn't suit your schedule, you are perfectly free to decline our request.  There is absolutely no pressure placed on any of our volunteers at any time.

Volunteer positions range from :

  • Driving Whangarei cancer patients to and from hospital appointments
  • Helping us with Daffodil Day and Relay for Life special events
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks
  • Helping us keep Daffodil House maintained

Come and join us and help us make a difference to others.   If you are interested in getting involved please complete the  Volunteer Enquiry Form or for further information call Daffodil House on (09) 437 5593 or Freephone : 0800 366 066.
