What do we do with the money?
The money raised from the Northland Daffodil Day event is used in Northland to provide free support to cancer patients, their families and caregivers and enable education and prevention programmes to be set up within the communities of Northland.
Relay For Life 21 - 22 March 2009
Relay For Life in Whangarei is to be held at Otaika Sports Park, State Highway 1, Otaika, Whangarei on 21-22 March 2009.
Relay For Life is a fun-filled 24 hours community event designed to celebrate survivorship and help the Cancer Society raise money to provide the much needed free services for people and families affected by cancer throughout Northland and Auckland.
Relay For Life represents :
- The hope that those who have been lost to cancer will never be forgotten
- The hope that those who face cancer will be supported
