What would I have to do?

Many volunteers join our organisation because they feel they would like to give their time, energy and skills to undertake a worthwhile task.

Others simply want to help out, to lend a hand, to help others in the community who may be going through a difficult time in their lives.  After completing any assignment no matter how small, our volunteers all tell us the same thing - they feel a real sense of personal achievement.

On the fun side, being actively involved in our annual events, Daffodil Day and Relay for Life helps new friendships develop through lots of fun and laughter.  Our volunteers return year after year to help on these special days.

Whether you have a day to spare, or just a few hours, we would welcome you into our team of dedicated volunteers.  The amount of time you give us is up to you.  We will only ask you on the days you have indicated and if the task doesn’t suit your schedule, you’re perfectly free to decline.  There is absolutely no pressure placed on any of our volunteers at any time.   We will call you again!!

For an application form please phone 308-0496.

Paul, Merle and Anu are volunteers with us. Find out what makes them help others.
