The Auckland Cancer Society was established in 1929 as a voluntary charitable organisation to provide support and information for cancer patients and their families.

The Society has achieved it's reputation as one of New Zealand's most trusted charitable organisations, through the achievement of world-class research, accessible patient support and information services and innovative health promotion and educational programmes.

In 2007 more than $3.9million was raised through donor support, sponsorship and our major fundraising events, Daffodil Day and Relay for Life.
