Entering a Team

 

 

As Relay For Life is a fundraiser for the Cancer Society, each team member is encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 before the event. Therefore if a team has 10 members they should aim to raise $1,000.  Teams collect donations, have garage sales, hold car washes, and many other activities to raise money for this event.

 

There is a registration fee of $200 per team to cover the cost of up to 10 team members and your Team Resource Kit which contains : 

The initial team entry fee of $200 is based on a team of up to 10 people.  The $200 registration fee is your commitment to participate in this event.  Your paid up registration reserves your tent site and entitles each team member to a Relay For Life T-Shirt and hat, breakfast on the Sunday morning and resource materials. 

Additional team members are required to pay $20 per person.  As part of your registration we will set up your team homepage so that you can communicate with each other and invite others to either join in or support your fundraising efforts.

Ideas on how to raise funds will be included in your Team Kit.    Donations should be collected and banked at any National Bank of New Zealand prior to the event which saves you having to go back to collect money afterwards - all you need to do when it's over is tell your friends what a great time you had and start forming your team for next year!
