Community Fundraising 

 

 

We encourage people to become involved in these major events each year.  However, if you plan to run your own event, no matter how big or small your fundraising idea may be, we need to hear about it as it is important you let us know before you start your planning!

 

There are many fun things that you can do to raise money.  Some you can simply do on your own, while for others you may need to get some help.  If you are a member of a community group or club, a sporting team, a school group or an individual wanting to raise money for the Cancer Society, then we would welcome your involvement. 

 

If you are keen to organise a fundraising event, no matter how big or small, our staff are more than happy to talk to you.  We will also provide you with information material on the work of the Cancer Society and a letter of endorsement for your fundraising activity.

 

 

If you wish to use the Cancer Society Daffodil logo to support your community fundraising effort we ask that you provide us with a written proposal giving us information on the type of activity, where it will take place along with any other details that you think may be important for us to know. Once your application is approved we will be pleased to provide you with information on the work of the Society and a letter of endorsement for your fundraising activity.
