Cancer Society of New Zealand Scientific Grants

The Cancer Society of New Zealand (National Office) makes research project grants.  Applications must be on the correct form (an electronic version is available at www.cancernz.org.nz ), and submitted by 15th September each year.  Applications are reviewed by the National Scientific Advisory Committee, who makes recommendations to the Board of the Cancer Society of New Zealand.  Project grants provide support for a single individual or group working on a clearly defined research project, for up to three years, and are normally limited to a maximum of $200,000 per year.  Successful applications will commence on July 1st in the year following the application.  A brief annual progress report is required by 30th of June for each year of the grant.
